Optimise your seed rate. Grow more per hectare.

A free Field Variability Assessment shows where more seed pays back and where less seed saves you money. Increase yield by 3-15% by matching seed rate to field-specific potential.

  • Report in 6 hours
  • Free for everyone
  • See where you could optimise rates

Why FVA

Why growers use FVA to sharpen their seed plans.

A data-driven picture of what your field is really capable of, so you can seed where it pays back and save where it doesn't.

1 FAST

From postcode to detailed report, same day. No installs, no equipment, no visit.

2 NO STRINGS

Free for anyone. Not tied to any product purchase or Syngenta contract.

3 ZONE-LEVEL DETAIL

Prioritise between fields with our variability score, and within field with a productivity rating per zone.

4 PROVEN AT SCALE

Powered by Cropwise, used on 100+ million hectares by 40,000+ growers.

How it works

From postcode to plan.

One short form. Your report in 6 hours. Your seed rate plan writes itself.

1

Tell us about your field

Postcode, size in hectares (minimum 0.5 ha), main crop. That's all we need.

2

We analyse your field

5 years of satellite imagery combined into one average map. Report ready in about 6 hours.

3

You see where seed pays back

Under-performing zones flagged. Over-performing zones flagged. Your input rate plan writes itself.

Your report, decoded

See where every seed will really pay back.

Every field has zones that produce more and zones that produce less. FVA turns that difference into a seed-rate map that reflects the real productivity of each zone. See exactly what you'll get, on the right.

  • Variability Index score, 0 to 1, per field
  • Zone maps with productivity difference vs. field average
  • See difference between zones and how differences change over time
  • NDVI, plant-health signal from satellite, per zone

How the scores work

Two measurements, one variability picture.

The Variability Index combines two things: how different the parts of your field are (heterogeneity) and whether those differences hold over time (consistency).

Heterogeneity

How much crop performance varies across your field. We show the zones. The bigger the difference between zones, the higher the heterogeneity.

Consistency

How stable those zones have been across 5 years of history. A field with high consistency responds well to variable-rate. A field with low consistency makes it harder to apply rates precisely within the field.

What you can expect

Better decisions. Better outcomes.

Precision farming, simply

Your field isn't uniform. Your seeding plan shouldn't be either.

Fields have zones that already perform above average and zones that under-perform. FVA shows you which is which, so you match rate to real potential — save on the weak zones, optimise on the strong ones.
